Lancashire Cross Country Championships 5th Jan Witton Park

Congratulations to all Horwich RMI runners at these championships, especially the Ladies who clearly excelled in the wet muddy conditions
The Ladies were led home by Rachel Jones winning the individual Ladies Gold Medal. This spearheaded the charge for an overall 2nd team place with:
1st Rachel Jones
7 Janet Rashleigh
10 Debby Campbell
14 Suzanne Budgett
The team was also successful with the 1st Ladies vets prize and an individual Gold for Rachel Jones
Not to be outdone the men also performed with
12th Martin Bell 1st Vet
24th Sean McMyler 3rd vet 50
67th Paul Murray 1st Vet 70

These runs will surely result in at least 2 county vests late this year. Well done to all
