Club Championships
The Horwich RMI Harriers are excited to announce the details for the 2026 Senior Club Championships. This year’s championships will feature several competitive events across different disciplines:
Club Road Championships
Awards will be presented to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd male and female club finishers. The qualifying races are those in the Central Lancs Grand Prix race series – you must complete 7 races to qualify. The scoring system only considers Horwich Runners. 1 point is awarded for a first-place Horwich finish, 2 for 2nd etc. The lowest overall score from the best 7 performances wins. Club Fell Championships
Awards will be presented to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd male and female club finishers. The qualifying races are those in the Run The Moors Grand Prix race series – you must complete 7 races to qualify. The scoring system only considers Horwich Runners. 1 point is awarded for a first-place Horwich finish, 2 for 2nd etc. The lowest overall score from the best 7 performances wins. Club Cross Country Championships
Awards for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd male and female club finishers in both open and vets categories. The qualifying races are those in the Manchester Area Cross Country League (fixtures to be confirmed), you must complete 4 races to qualify. The scoring system only considers Horwich Runners. 1 point is awarded for a first-place Horwich finish, 2 for 2nd etc. The lowest overall score from the best 4 performances wins
Overall Club Championship
Awards for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd men, women, and vets. The overall results will be determined by the best 12 performances from the respective fell, cross country, and road championships. You must complete at least 4 races from each of the three categories – your best 4 races from each category will be selected for the scoring.
The scoring system only considers Horwich Runners. 1 point is awarded for a first-place Horwich finish, 2 for 2nd etc. The lowest overall score wins.
