Hellvellyn Trail Race

Hellvellyn Trail Race 15k – 5th November 2011.

A large field of over 350 runners competed in this very scenic route out of Glenridding up and down the valleys before returning to Patterdale. The winner was James Smith of Leeds City in a very quick 53.01, with the ladies winner in Emma Pooley 16th place in 62.51. Rachel Thompson was our first finisher in 27th in 65.10 after a great run. Tony Hesketh was first over sixty in 73rd place with a time of 70.25. There where 373 finishers.
