Sunday Run – 20th November 2011

Rivington Reservoirs, The Pike, Bolton

Sundays run is 16km starting at the Castle car park, following the trails along upper reservoir, around Anglezarke Reservoir and then climbing up past the Wellington memorial, down to the old lead mines, along the road towards the Pidgeon Tower car park, and then a final climb up towards the Pidgeon Tower, the Pike and a quick last mile down to the end.

Meet up is at Rivington Castle Car Park at 9:30am.

Route is mostly trail with some muddy parts, trail shoes recommended, we have two Cat3 hills, one short one in the middle and a longer one towards the end 🙂
