English Junior Fell series at Shuttlingsloe, Cheshire.
The Horwich Juniors took a journey south to Wildboarclough in Cheshire for the 3rd round of the Fell series.
Again blessed with magnificent weather our juniors put in more solid performances to cement their standings.
The U12’s had Cameron Critchley, Will & Nathan Townsend and Phoebe Howe. As the race developed it was clear our juniors were not hindered by the long hill climb to the finish.
In at 7th was Nathan closely followed by Phoebe in 11th. The much confident Cameron in at 13th and still improving each race Will in 17th.
The U14’s had Joseph Howe continues to improve his placing in the championship and coming home in 5th.
Not having his best day Jonathan Powis finished in 33rd after struggling with the move up from U12’s to 14’s.
Not to be outdone Zac Howe had a great finish in 10th and claimed this was easily the hardest race yet for this year. As if to prove it on hands and knees he stayed until LACTIC subsided.
