Race to Remember 29th Sept
This trail race held at Scorton was blessed with good weather and over 120 runners, the course was very scenic around the Trough of Bowland all proceeds went to the Alzimers charity and one of the organizers was our very own Brendon Bolland.
The course was quite undulating with a tough half mile hill at 4 miles. The race was won by Ste Swarbrick of Bowland Runners in 34.38 our first counter was Paul Muller in a fine third place in 35.44 despite having a bad back! Tony Hesketh ran well for 20th in 42.51 winning the 1st O/60 prize and the team was completed by Peter Ramsdale in 40th in 47.01 having just returned from holiday the night before.
