Eleven harriers ran this local trail race with Martyn Bell leading the way for the harriers in 7th position. Making up the team that finished in third place was Billy Martin and Dave Jackson. Christine Boardman was the first Horwich lady, Sean McMyler was 1st V45 and Tony Hesketh the 1st V60.
