Darren Takes Course Record at High Cup Nick. 9m/1500ft

A rare win over Rob Jebb gives a good pointer to Darren Kay’s current form. Second last year to Jim Davies, Darren went specifically to win the race and did so in 61.47 with Jim Davies just behind in 61.56, Rob Jebb came third in 62.54. Darren took over three minutes off last years time and in doing so broke the course record of 61.55. Darren is now looking forward to the Half Tour of Pendle next weekend which starts off the FRA Fell Running Championship races.
