Several Harriers made the short trip to the village of Pendleton, near Clitheroe, to take on the Pendleton Fell Race last weekend. This relatively short five-mile race crams in 1500ft of ascent during its course
A Horwich Harriers Club Race. The Fielden Cup is a great chance to meet up with other Harriers and enjoy a get together afterwards.
Meet at junction on George’s Lane with Matchmoor Lane between 6.15pm and 6.40pm armed with a recent time for a measured distance. This will be used to calculate your handicap.
First runner off at 6.45pm. First Horwich Harrier back wins the Fielden Cup. Open to any runner, over 15. No fee.
Club get together at the Ale House after. Stay as long as possible.
