Blackburn Winter Warmer 10K

The annual Blackburn Winter Warmer 10K Race took place on Sunday (8th Feb) morning over the tough, established course from Witton Park. Over 400 runners were greeted with a cold but clear, sunny morning. Three Horwich Harriers produced good performances in a strong field. Leading the way for the Harriers was Rob Jackson in 10th place (3rd vet 40) and taking the 2nd vet 40 prize. He was followed by Glyn Kay in 22nd place, with prolific racer Paul Boardman in 34th (3rd vet 45). Paul’s son Sam Boardman had a great run to win the Junior 2K Race.
