English Schools Fell Championship

Several Club members ran in the English Schools Fell Championships held at Cockermouth on Sunday.

Lucy Phillpotts, Jodie Greenhalgh and Eleanor Cullum helped their school mates to gain 4th overall in a closely fought championship.

In the Boys Nathan Townsend received Bronze for 3rd place. That result, and Cameron Critchley helping their team to come SECOND overall. This was a tremendous result as the team had never ran this championship previously. Jonathan Powis having a great run showing he is back on form.

Other Clubs runners also did fantastic. Phoebe Howe 4th girl home, magnificent, Joseph Howe decided to run albeit suffering with breathing challenges and brother Zac a fantastic 8th in his race.

Horwich RMI had the best individual results from any other running club this year. A good result for the Children who are working hard in training.
