Kentmere Horseshoe 11.9m 3,300′ climb – 25.07.10
We were blessed with a dry day for this event, despite all the previous rainy days we’ve experienced of late. Considering this, the conditions underfoot were very good, although not quite as dry as they have been in previous years, making the running pretty good going. Decent visibility seemed to favour the runners too, which again was a bonus. Five Harriers turned up for this race on a rather muggy, close day; Mick Green (1.49.43), Albert Sunter (1.55.18), Suzanne Budgett (2.05.27), Tony Varley (2.15.28) & Mark Salmon (2.43.34). After speaking to all fellow Harriers, it would appear that we all enjoyed the course (and it is a good, pleasant & runnable course). Vet category prizes were collected by Albert, Tony & Suzanne.
