Pete Howarth followed up his outright win at Stanhill the night before with another super run to finish 5th overall in a time of 38.45. Obviously the break from Uni is giving Pete the time to get in some good training and show well in the results especially winning at Stanhill, well done Pete. Alastair Murray after a tough track session the night before took in the race to keep his points tally high on the club champs, which he did nicely finishing 11th in 40.29. Graham Schofield made up the three man team which finished third on the night. Graham is in fine form collecting another 0/50 prize in 14th overall, running 41.12. Denis Mason was well placed in 27th (43.11) with Albert Sunter (45.00) in 43rd, showing some improved form of late. Doug Fleming was not too far behind in 49th (45.45) with Gary Chadderton in 63rd (47.36).
Pete Leighton was only 20 seconds behind Doug in 69th. The first of the Colin’s (Wood) was 89th in 49.57, with Colin Waterworth 165th in 56.51. Mark Sammon is getting faster with each race, this time placing 174th (58.55). Michele Sunter (65.04) was our only lady at the race finishing 31st lady.
