Chris Steele of Borders A C took the individual win in a “relatively modest” time of 29m 48 secs considering the revised course profile was fast and with ideal weather conditions.
Harriers top runner on the start line was Michael Cayton but unfortunately he had to drop out after only a few miles due to an ongoing stomach issue However, within the “MASSEY” talent pool, youngster (U17) Luke claimed first counter demonstrating all the ability of a future star. His dad Paul said afterwards “I have to accept that I will never beat Luke again as he’s growing stronger day by day”
Bolton won comfortably the team race and Horwich RMI harriers took 3rd place with contributions made by Luke, James and David
Men (3rd team)

14th James Jordan – 34m 35s
