Billy Knox New Year Awakening 5k 1st Jan 2015

This tough annual multi terrain race saw 87 starters of which four were from Horwich. Dave March from Sale won in 17.50 indicating the climb at the start on the hill was difficult. Paul Boardman finished in 11th second over fifty and gained revenge over Tony Hesketh in 28th with him winning the O/65 award. Dave Barnes who seems to be racing a lot more theses days was 50th and Brenda Hesketh was 21st lady in 79th place.

This again was a well organised race by Andy O Sullivan.
