1,2,3 for Horwich Ladies @ Harrock

Lindsey Brindle, Debbie Campbell & Suzanne Budgett pulled off 1s,. 2nd & third placings resepctively at Harrock which secured them 1st team prize too. Storming performances by Lindsey & Debbie both of whom were running either tired or recovering from a cold.  In our men, Andy Lloyd finished a brill 6th overall. followed by Paul Boardman, Doug Fleming & Ed Swift. This race must surely win best value for money race going with no extra charge made for on the night entry (never sure why this is imposed anyway), excellent prizes (all the same) of fresh, local fruit & veg (provided by our own Horwicher, Chris Lyon) and all for £3.00!  It would be great if more of our ladies could turnout for the last in the series on August 24th – make a note of the date in your diary.  The route suits all, whether you’re a road, trail or fell runner.
