Llanbedr to Blaenavon 15M 4500ft – 2nd April 2011

Martin Cox was in the UK this weekend to take the win at the the tough Llanbedr to Blaenavon race. The GB international mountain runner showed his class in perfect fell running conditions. Cox was a 2m 30s winner over top Mynydd Du man Mark Palmer with Alastair Murray of Horwich Harriers finishing third. The 15 mile event is notorious for its ascent of the Blorenge in its closing stages with many a grimace to be seen in these great shots by Al Tye at Fell Running Pictures.
