Lactic Acid Test 8 Miles Trail Race

The first ever running of this race saw 170 runners start the very tough trail race with 1300 ft of climbing. Only two Horwich Harriers competed with Tony Hesketh taking first over sixty in 41 st place. Actually he beat all the over 55s too. Julie Williamson was sixth over forty in 158th place. The race was won by Gareth Raven of East Cheshire in 54.21.
