Horwich RMI Harriers were out in both force and quality at the concluding race in this years Central Lancs Grand Prix. The club required a good turn out to secure the team trophy for the grand prix and thirteen harriers responded to the call from the Chairman. It will take a few days for the final tables to be calculated but with all thirteen finishing in the top 25% of the field, its looking good.

First home for Horwich in third position and in a time of 27:13 was Alastair Murray. Col Rigby and Martyn Bell completed the winning team in 4th and 6th positions respectively. Picking up the prize for first V50 was Steve Nolan in 10th position overall, and Suzanne Budgett, our only lady, took home the prize for 2nd LV45.
