Russell Maddams was back on the race scene after his recent wedding to Pippa with a fine 3rd place in this local race – for Russ, his time of 33.03 was his best for a couple of years and gives him a good marker as he begins his three month training block to compete for Great Britain in the IAU 50k World Trophy Final in Gibraltar on October 31st.
