Wagon & Horses 10 – Lancaster Sun 2nd Aug.
As one group of Harriers were racing over 10 mile at Sale another group made the trip to Lancaster to compete in the Wagon & Horses 10, run I believe on a scenic route alongside the river. The runners here had equal success with Russell Maddams running 55.42 for third pace, and getting in a last minute race before his wedding to Phillippa Jackson next Saturday. On behalf of the club Russ we wish you and Pip all the best for a super day next week. Richard Howarth had a excellent run in fourth with a time of 56.26 not too far away from his PB. Glyn Kay was just outside the hour with 60.22 and very well placed in 8th. Simon Parkinson also ran well for 11th place in 61.32, with Mark Gibson clocking 67.53 for 39th.
