Commonwealth Up Hill Only Race – Sept 18th

For those at the sharp end the info is, that there will not be a separate uphill trial, as it is – too complicated and too many races! It would appear that the selectors will go on form, with athletes wanting to be considered to send details of their performances to Alan Barlow by the date of the up and down trial – form could be shown from a European race, or the European trial earlier in the year plus more recent flat races.

Ideally six per event will be selected – some runners may ask to be considered for both the Up & Down race as well as the Uphill only race, which is possible, but only runners who the selectors feel are of the right standard will be invited to compete.
