Radcliffe AC 5 Mile Trail Race 14th Aug.

Susan Lever took another step up the comeback ladder when winning well at Radcliffe. Taking the first 0/45 spot and winning the race is not a usual formula but Susan has been training hard and it paid off with a 32.46 time.

In the men’s race we had another rather unusual grouping as our first three runners were also fighting for the first 0/40 spot, with Paul Freary (27.25) leading the way in fourth overall, Rob Jackson took sixth place in 27.55, and good to see Adrian Selby (29.03) back racing and taking the third 0/40. Simon Parkinson (30.26) was well placed in 11th , with John Foulds (33.59) in 25th. Frank Wood (41.40) made up our contingent in 52nd place finishing second 0/60.
