Lisa Back to Winning Ways.
Congratulations to Lisa Heyes (49.48) on winning her race, two minutes clear of the second lady. Lisa has been putting in the miles recently and working hard in the sessions and it showed as she powered round the course to a super win. Only Andy Neary (46.00) from the club managed to stay in front of her, running well in 14th place. Andy too is now training hard and getting back some of his old form. Next came our trio of 0/45’s with Paul Boardman (50.07) leading them in, in 49th place, closely followed by Doug Fleming (50.25) in 53rd, even more closely followed by
Gary Chadderton (50.29) in 56th. Andy Gorman (52.45) took in his local race finishing in 84th and Mark Sammon (70.48) tested out his knee niggle possibly a little earlier than he should, finishing in 322nd
