Blackpool 10k. Sat 6th Sept.

Paul Muller (35.54) continued his very busy race program with a 5th place and his customary first 0/50 position in this blustery 10k. The first half of the race was into a headwind that cut down the race times, even so sub 36 is not bad!

We also had a trio of ladies running, with Claire Burns (41.23) leading the way with a fine 3rd place – opinion was that without the wind factor she would have had a much better PB. In fourth place and delighted with her time of 41.45, was Emma Perrin who has applied for club membership, Emma has teamed up with Caroline Scholes and Sarah Norgate in Chorley and are all working well together in training. Caroline was our third lady running 43.00 and collecting the 2nd 0/35 prize.
