Letty Fell Race, incorporating British Intercounties Championship.

Two harriers were selected for this years intercounties fell champs, with Dionne Allen and Alastair Murray both running for Greater Manchester.

One of the hottest days of the year so far made for an interesting race, as many struggled around in the heat, and others didn’t quite make it to the finish.

Both club representative had successful races, with both Dionne and Alastair collecting team medals for their contributions to Greater Manchester taking second place in both the Ladies and Mens races. Dionne was second counter for the team, finishing 11th in a strong field, whilst Alastair was third counter, and 35th overall.

The only horwich vest on display was by Peter Leighton, competing in the open race, and finishing in 154th.
