Prediction Race 5th December
Only six competitors entered this race and it makes you wonder if it
is worth while taking the time and effort to organize an event with so
few entries, nevertheless the muddy five mile course was enjoyed by
the runners along with a Bacon Butty at the finish. The course wound
its way up to the Two Lads descended into Horwich at the Bridge Pub
then climbed out and up Gingham Brow finishing back at Curlies
Fisheries.
Gary Chadderton got his first win despite going slightly off
course behind the Parish Church but relied on second placed Pete
Ramsdale to show him the way.Pete had a remarkable run finishing
second and only 10 seconds outside his predicted time. Second place in
the predictions was Paul Hesketh with 61seconds again a very good
estimate. Alan Jones the only non RMI Harrier decided to put the Pike
in hence his time.
